How to Play
Changes for 2012 season
Players that you choose to sit on your 'Interchange Bench' DO NOT receive points. Players you choose in the numbered (1 – 13) positions DO receive points. However, your 'Interchange Bench' players can be rotated into your 'Squad of 13' at any time – except between Midnight Thursday to Midnight Sunday. In order to score points players MUST be in the 'Squad of 13' prior to midnight THURSDAY prior to the weekend’s game that they are expected to play in
General overview
To play Super League Dream Team start by selecting a 17 man squad from the players available. Every available player is given a fantasy value based on their previous season performance and assigned a positional category of Back, Half Back or Forward. Every fantasy team is made up of 6 backs, 3 half backs and 8 forwards. Teams must cost a maximum of 1.65 million and are limited to three players from each Super League team.
The players you select for your fantasy team will earn points throughout the season for good performance and lose points for errors and poor discipline (full scoring criteria to the right). As the manager you have two transfers per calendar month (from February to September) available to replace your low scoring or injured players with in-form players. Transfers must be used in the month allocated so can NOT be carried over to the next month. You only score points for players that are in your team at midnight Thursday prior to the weekend’s games in which they are expected to play and have a squad number between 1 and 13. The fantasy team with the highest combined player total at the end of the regular season (excludes play-offs) will win the Super League Dream Team.
Mini Leagues can easily be setup for free so you can compete against your friends. Fantasy teams can enter upto three different mini leagues but once entered cannot be removed. Mini leagues are password protected and anybody in a mini league can invite other fantasy teams to join.
Deadlines
You can select your team as early as you like without the worry of injuries during pre-season friendlies as unlimited transfers can be made before midnight Thursday of the first Super League game. If you miss the start of the season it's not too late as teams can be entered at any point during the season. Transfers also must be made before Midnight Thursday to earn points for the transferred players.
Player database
The player database will consist of all the players in the Super League squads prior to the season start. Each player is assigned a value on last year’s performance, if the player is new to the Super League he will be manually assigned a value by Super League Dream Team on his previous career.
As new players arrive in the Super League we will aim to add them to the database as soon as possible, though no timescales are guaranteed. When a player is transferred between Super League teams your fantasy team is unaffected even if this means you break the three player per team rule. If a player leaves the Super League you will cease to score points for him. Player values do not change throughout the season.
Your account/payment
The only cost to play is the initial cost of the team, thereafter everything is free including transfers and mini leagues. You have three pricing options as follows:
1 Team = £3
2 Teams = £5
3 Teams = £7
We can only accept payments online with the following credit cards Visa, Visa Delta, Visa Electron, MasterCard, Maestro and Solo. All credit card payments are handled by our secure payment provider SagePay to ensure maximum security.
During registration you will be asked for your email and to select a password which you will need whenever you login to check on your teams performance. Once you've completed your team(s) you will receive email confirmation and will be automatically logged in to your account. Once logged in you’re free to setup mini leagues and use the bulletin board.

The players you select in the interchange positions do not score until they're rotated into your squad.
