1.2 The purpose of the Game is to provide entertainment and to promote the game of Rugby League in the United Kingdom. This website www.sldreamteam.co.uk ('the Site') is controlled and operated by the Company from its offices within the United Kingdom.

1.3 Entries to the Game can only be made via the Site. No applications to enter made in any other manner will be accepted. Where an application is accepted, it will be known as an "Entry" and you will become known as an "Entrant" in the terms below.

1.4 When an Entrant enters a team ('Team') into the Game they agree to these Terms and Conditions. If the Entrant does not agree with any of these Terms and Conditions they should not use the Site, because by using the Site an Entrant will be deemed to have irrevocably agreed to these Terms and Conditions.

1.5 The Game will run from the first Super League regular season match in the 2012 season to the completion of the final Super League regular season match in the 2012 season (the "Season") and an Entrant can enter a Team into the Game at any point during the Season.

1.6 Please note that these Terms and Conditions may be revised and reissued without notice at any time by updating this posting and the Entrant shall agree that no liability shall attach to the Organisers and that they have no right to claim any compensation as a result thereof. Entrants should visit this page regularly to review the current Terms and Conditions, since their continued use of the Site will be deemed as irrevocable acceptance of any revisions. These Terms and Conditions were last updated on 12th January 2012.

1.7 The Operators will assume (and by using the Site the Entrant will warrant that) that any Entrant shall have legal capacity to enter into the agreement set out in these Terms and Conditions (i.e. that each Entrant is of sufficient age and mental capacity and are otherwise entitled to be legally bound in contract).

2 ELIGIBILITY

2.1 Up to three teams are permitted per registered e-mail address.

2.2 An Entrant must be aged 18 or over as of 1st January 2012 to play the Game. Any Entrant found to be under 18 at this date will not be eligible to enter the competition or to win prizes. The Operators' decision on this is final.

2.3 It is illegal for someone who is under 18 years of age to gamble.
In order to avoid unlawful betting, the Promoter reserves the right to carry out checks to verify the information provided. We may undertake a search with a third party for the purpose of verifying that you are 18 or over.
Where these checks are unable to verify any customer is 18 or over, the Promoter reserves the right to ask for proof of age. Customer accounts may be suspended and funds withheld until satisfactory proof of age is provided. The legal gambling age varies according to country, we advise you to carry out local research.
To prevent potential misuse if young people have access to a computer with Internet access please keep your account number, user name and password confidential.

2.4 Further Information on age Verification

In a small number of cases the checks that we carry out are not able to verify the age of new account holders. If this applies to your account we would need to ask for further information from you to confirm you are at least 18 years old.
You could provide us with a suitable document to prove your date of birth by fax or email. We will accept any of the following documents:

  • Birth Certificate
  • Driving Licence
  • Passport
  • Signed Credit Agreement

You can scan and email your document to ageverification@sldreamteam.co.uk

Upon satisfactory verification, your account will be opened and free of the imposed restrictions.
Please note that we will be unable to discuss an account with anybody other than the account holder, nor are we able to confirm whether or not any individual has an account with us.

2.5 Entry into the Game is open to persons residing in a country where gambling on the Game is not prohibited and it is the Entrant's responsibility to ensure they are eligible to compete in the Game. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Operators and Opta Sports Data and any of their subsidiaries, group companies and/or agencies are ineligible to win any prizes.

2.6 The Operators reserve the right to refuse to accept any Entry which, in their opinion, does not comply with the Terms and Conditions of the Game or which contravenes the spirit of the Game. The Operators further have an absolute discretion to disqualify any Entry, or vary, amend or waive the rules of the Game at any time and Entrants agree that no liability shall attach to the Operators as a result thereof and that the exercise of such discretion shall not result in any compensation being payable or paid to any Entrant. It is a condition of Entry that all rules are accepted as final and that the Entrant agrees to abide by these rules.

3 TEAM NAMES

3.1 Entrants must choose a name for each Team entered up to 25 characters long.

3.2 Each Team name entered must be different and the Operators may amend a Team name which is identical to another Team name previously submitted.

3.3 The Operators reserve the right to refuse Team names that are felt to be inappropriate, confusing or offensive. Unsuitable names will be deleted and the Team will appear under the name of the Entrant.

4 GAME RULES

4.1 The Game will be governed by the Game Rules from time to time published on the Site by the Company ("Game Rules"). The Company reserves the right to alter, amend or supplement the Game Rules from time to time in its absolute discretion in the event of any circumstances beyond its reasonable control arising or where it considers it desirable to do so.

4.2 To play the Game an Entrant must select a 17 man squad from the players available. Every available player is given a fantasy value and assigned a positional category of Back, Half Back or Forward. Each Team must be made up of 6 Backs, 3 Half Backs and 8 Forwards, must cost a maximum of £1.65 million and is limited to three players from each Super League team. The players an Entrant selects in the interchange positions do not score in the same way as players in positions 1 to 13. The players that the Entrant selects as interchange players may now only be used to make interchanges between the bench and starting 13 to cover injuries etc. Interchanges are no longer available during the weekend and instead will operate only, on an unlimited basis, between midnight Sunday and midnight Thursday.

4.3 Eligible matches are only those Super League fixtures played in the Season (the "Eligible Matches"). For the avoidance of doubt any Cup, International, Challenge or Play-Off games will not be Eligible Matches.

4.4 The players an Entrant selects for a Team will earn points throughout the Season for good performance and lose points for errors and poor discipline in Eligible Matches (full scoring criteria in clause 4.8 below).

4.5 The points awarded are adjudicated by Opta Sports Data and the Company's decision as to the awarding of points is final. Any points or values which are incorrectly assigned to a player of team may be corrected at the Company's discretion.

4.6 The Company cannot accept any liability if matches on which the Game is based are cancelled or postponed. Where matches are rearranged points will be allocated to Teams as per the date when the match is actually played.

4.7 Teams will not score points until they have been submitted. For the purposes of the Game and an Entrant's use of the Site, the Company's computer record of an Entry will be considered to be an Entry. The Company has the right to reject what, in their sole discretion, they consider to be incomplete, inaccurate or a corrupted Entry. The decision of the Company as to whether an Entry is incomplete, inaccurate or corrupted is final.

5.2 As players arrive or leave Super League the Company will aim to add or remove them to or from the database as soon as possible, though no timescales are guaranteed. When a player is transferred between Super League teams an Entrant's Team is unaffected even if the three player per Team rule is then broken. If a player leaves the Super League he will cease to score points. Player values are never changed throughout the Season.

5.3 Player values assigned to players in no way represent information held by the Promoter and are independently assigned to players based on statistical data solely for the purpose of the Game

6 TRANSFERS

Once you self exclude, we cannot reverse this process for any reason and you may not apply to open a new account. We will not reopen any self excluded account, but after the expiry of the exclusion period you may email us to open your account (no other method of activation is possible). Legislation requires us to provide you with a 24 hour cooling off period, during which you may elect to keep the exclusion in place.

How to request the Self-Exclusion facility

To use our self-exclusion facility, you must be logged into your account and follow these simple steps:

1. Select 'Edit' from the top right hand of the screen once logged in, then click on 'Self Exclude'.

2. Go to the check box indicating agreement at the bottom of the page, check the box and click 'Agree to self Exclusion'.

We will action your request within 48 hours and confirm to you by e-mail, on your external e-mail account, when we have put the exclusion in place.

In requesting self-exclusion you agree to provide full and accurate personal details, now and in the future, so as to allow access/use of the group’s betting and gaming services to be restricted. If you do choose to self-exclude we will use all reasonable endeavours to ensure we comply with your self-exclusion. Accordingly, Super League Dream Team has no responsibility or liability for any subsequent consequences or losses howsoever caused, that you may suffer or incur if you commence or continue gambling in any of our shops or via a telephone betting account or you continue to gamble through additional online accounts where you have changed any of the registration details (which would also include if you open up an account with substantially the same information, albeit inputted into the registration form in a different way) or you provide misleading, inaccurate or incomplete details or otherwise seek to circumvent the self-exclusion agreed.
